Ponte Vedra Concert Hall has been shortlisted for the 2026 MONDO-DR Awards in the Concert Hall category, placing the recently renovated venue among a select group of internationally recognized performance spaces.

 

Presented by the team behind MONDO-DR magazine, the international publication for technology in entertainment, the MONDO-DR Awards were established in 2017 to celebrate outstanding installation projects from across the global entertainment technology industry, recognizing excellence in audio, lighting, video, acoustics, and systems integration.

 

Ponte Vedra Concert Hall’s nomination highlights the venue’s comprehensive renovation, which introduced a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system designed to elevate both the artist’s performance and audience experience. The project was developed in collaboration with WSDG (Walters-Storyk Design Group), a globally recognized leader in acoustics and systems design, and AVL Productions, a Jacksonville-based production company specializing in audio, lighting, video, and staging for live events.

 

Ponte Vedra Concert Hall joins an international shortlist that includes renowned institutions such as Sydney Opera House in Australia, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in Scotland, and Biwako Hall in Japan.

 

“It’s truly remarkable to be nominated alongside some of the world’s most iconic venues,” said Gabe Pellicer, CEO & President of SJC Cultural Events, Inc., the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. “This nomination recognizes the intentional decisions made throughout the renovation, all grounded in one goal – making the room sound and be its absolute best. Every element was designed so artists can perform at their highest level and audiences are treated to an exceptional live music experience.”

The reimagined Ponte Vedra Concert Hall reopened in August 2025, ushering in a new era for live music in Northeast Florida.
